Fees and Cancellation Policy

Session Fees
Standard counselling sessions are conducted via secure telehealth (and are typically 50 minutes in duration.  Fees can be found on the website. 

Fees are reviewed periodically and may be adjusted. Clients will be provided with reasonable notice of any fee changes.

Payment Terms
Payment is required at the time of booking or prior to the scheduled session.
Accepted payment methods: bank transfer / card (via Halaxy or other platform).  Halaxy will deduct the fee at the commencement of the session if not at time of booking.

Invoices and receipts can be provided upon request.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. To support fairness and availability for all clients, the following policy applies:

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.
  • If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, the full session fee will be charged.
  • If you do not attend your scheduled session (no-show), the full fee applies.

Where possible, your appointment may be rescheduled within the same week to avoid the cancellation fee, at the counsellor’s discretion.

Late Attendance
If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time to avoid impacting other clients. The full session fee will still apply.

 

 

Exceptional Circumstances
I understand that unexpected situations can arise. Cancellation fees may be waived in cases of genuine emergency or extenuating circumstances, at my discretion.

Technology Issues (Telehealth)
If technical issues occur during a telehealth session, reasonable efforts will be made to reconnect or continue via an alternative method (e.g. phone). If the session cannot proceed due to factors outside your control, fees may be adjusted accordingly.

Medicare and Rebates
Counselling services are not covered by Medicare or private health insurance. 

Agreement
By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to this Fees and Cancellation Policy.
